Ok, so if you’ve read any of my recent posts, you know that I have become a certified PiYo Strength instructor! Woohooo! While I haven’t YET started teaching classes, that will happen VERY soon.
But…do you ever want to know what a program or class is like before you try it out? Well here you go! I chose a few of my favorite moves from my current routine (this is #31 in case you wanted to know that) and put them together in a little PiYo compilation video. 😉
I gotta say, my favorite part is when my little guy decides to join me for some squats and burpees!
The class is about an hour long, has some upbeat and current music, and has moves that are challenging for most people. It is a great way to stretch and strengthen your body. Yes we do yoga, yes we do pilates, but we also do strength conditioning. There are squats, lunges, burpees (not enough to make you want to throw up though, haha), push-ups, and many other moves that aren’t shown here. The moves start off slowly so you can pick up on them, and then they speed up a bit. There are also modifications for almost EVERY move – even for burpees!
