Want to know what PiYo Strength is all about?

Ok, so if you’ve read any of my recent posts, you know that I have become a certified PiYo Strength instructor! Woohooo! While I haven’t YET started teaching classes, that will happen VERY soon.

But…do you ever want to know what a program or class is like before you try it out? Well here you go! I chose a few of my favorite moves from my current routine (this is #31 in case you wanted to know that) and put them together in a little PiYo compilation video. šŸ˜‰

I gotta say, my favorite part is when my little guy decides to join me for some squats and burpees!

The class is about an hour long, has some upbeat and current music, and has moves that are challenging for most people. It is a great way to stretch and strengthen your body. Yes we do yoga, yes we do pilates, but we also do strength conditioning. There are squats, lunges, burpees (not enough to make you want to throw up though, haha), push-ups, and many other moves that aren’t shown here. The moves start off slowly so you can pick up on them, and then they speed up a bit. There are also modifications for almost EVERY move – even for burpees!

So what do you think? Does it look like a class you would enjoy? If so, check in your area to see if PiYo Strength classes are offered, and then get to it! If you don’t have PiYo classes near you, you can still get in on this awesome workout. Go to this link, put in your email address, and you will find out as soon as the home workout program is released in Summer 2014. By using this link, you can have ME as your coach. Don’t miss out!
